The 2022-2023 school year rewarded our community with a full calendar of events, the return of grade level socials, field trips, overnight trips, enrichment classes, and camps. To continue meeting the needs of our students, the school launched a new Literacy Coach program and added two additional small group learning spaces. To make this possible, the School leased a new facility. Known as “The Annex,” this space is home to the Communication and Admissions/Advancement offices, a school store, and a fully functional parent and volunteer center.
The School’s strong fundraising efforts this school year allowed the Administration, with the full support of the Board of Trustees, to make these and other critical enhancements to the campus and programs in spite of the unprecedented escalation of inflation. As responsible stewards of Los Encinos School, the Administration and the Board continued their dual focus on the long-term financial sustainability of the school and on meeting the needs of our community. Los Encinos School maintains a strong financial position due to the continued mission-centered business practices of the Administration and the Board.
