tuition assistance funds & grants
CHRIS HOLABIRD TUITION ASSISTANCE FUND
Mr. Holabird, who founded LES in 1980, was a strong advocate for tuition assistance and the vital role it plays in making independent school education accessible to families from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
By helping bridge the gap between a family's financial resources and the cost of tuition, these programs open doors for deserving students who might otherwise be unable to attend. Beyond supporting individual families, tuition assistance enriches the entire school community by bringing together students with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
It reflects our commitment to equity, inclusion, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
TCEI Grant

Los Encinos School is honored to have been awarded a prestigious grant from The Children’s Education Initiative (TCEI), a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of education for socio-economically disadvantaged children across the United States. The funding will enable Los Encinos School to implement a range of initiatives designed to enhance socio-economic diversity within our student body and support families in need of financial assistance.
